Strange Finds

The last of the Farmer's Market photos: Here are two strange items we found. The first is a canary melon, which kinda tasted like a cross between a honeydew melon and lychee:

The second is an easter egg plant, which looks like a joke, but isn't.

Do you know what kind it is?

Bees!

At the NC Farmers' Market, there were many flowers, but there were also many bees. Here's a couple shots I got:

Flowers at the Farmer's Market

The Farmer's Market always has a wonderful assortment of flowers, both cut and potted. Here's a couple that caught my eye. The first is a lily, but I don't know what the second one is.

Deer in the park

On two different occasions our family was walking through nearby Durant Park when we saw a herd of deer passing through. The second time, I had my camera.
